This privacy policy explains how International Care Ministries, hereafter referred to as “ICM”, respects personal data and is committed to complying with the Personal Data (Privacy) ordinance issued by the Hong Kong SAR and relevant areas of ICM’s operations in its collection, storage, use and protection of personal data. This policy explains how ICM protects personal data in all its various functions, including that of this website located at the URL www.caremin.com. ICM will not disclose any individual information to third parties without user’s consent unless it is required by law or is necessary for government purposes.

  • Communication of organization information as permitted by the individual such as newsletters, organization of events, fundraising.
  • Statistics and research preparation.
  • In compliance to any statutory requirement or law that binds ICM.

All personal information is stored on ICM’s secure database. Only designated ICM staff, who are held to confidentiality guidelines are allowed to store and process collected data for legitimate ICM operations. Appropriate legal and/or disciplinary actions will be taken should staff violate ICM’s privacy policies.

All online information is transmitted through SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This protects confidential information sent across the Internet to ICM. However, please note that no data transmitted through the Internet is 100% secure; therefore though we strive to protect donor’s privacy, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
