International Care Ministries UK

A UK charity and a grant making organisation

ICM UK has grant agreements with International Care Ministries to provide grants in line with both organisations’ missions.

ICM UK is actively engaged with ICM’s mission of “transforming the futures of the ultra-poor.” Working closely with other ICM affiliated organisations and legal entities, it contributes to improving the lives of the ultra-poor through the following:

Serving the ultra-poor

For those living on less than £0.35 per day, every day is a struggle to meet even the most basic needs.

Ultra-poverty and Hunger

One of the most stark and tangible aspects of life in poverty is that of hunger. Without enough resources, parents are often not able to provide food for themselves or their children.

*cumulative impact since data was collected in 2009, as of 2026

“What really amazes me with ICM is that the impact is so well measured. I’ve never seen another faith–based organization that acts the same way in that everything is measured. And that gives comfort to supporters, that every peso we put in is efficiently stewarded.”

Hanky Lee Henry Hotels and Resorts

“It takes real courage to constantly question how you’re doing and how you could improve. ICM’s commitment to constantly striving to do the very best for the people and the families that they support has been very impressive.”

Francesca Mott Old Dart Foundation

“It’s one thing to watch videos or go to the banquets, but to be able to go on a trip where you and your children actually build relationships with the people is really meaningful. Both our trips to the Philippines were just so memorable, and I would recommend that for anybody.”

Suzanne Chu Board Member, Asian Charity Services

“I love the way everything is structured so well at ICM. And so now, to start to export that to other parts of the world and hopefully embed into those local communities also, makes me feel I want to do more, because I feel I’m able to touch multiple parts of the world.”

Jim Schumacher Retired Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers

“Simple programs, like savings groups, have grown to be more sophisticated and effective through years of data collection and program analysis. But the heart remains the same: There is hope, and hope will change the face of poverty in years to come.“

Tim and Carrie Chen Hong Kong Board of Advisors
