David Simms

David is Managing Director and Founder of Talaton, a faith-driven impact investing firm. Talanton mobilizes mission-minded people who believe the best way to permanently help people living in poverty is to create jobs, bring Hope and Transform lives.

Previously, David served as Executive Chairman and President of Opportunity International, served as a Partner with Bridgespan, SEVP at MBNA, CEO of the American Red Cross Washington/Baltimore Region and a White House Fellow under Presidents Reagan and Bush. David started his career at Bain & Company. He holds an MBA and J.D. from Harvard, graduated from the Wharton and Engineering Schools at Penn, and lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife Kim.
