Every Step Counts

Over the next 12 months, I’m taking on a challenge that will stretch me physically, mentally, and emotionally — running a marathon in every Australian state and territory.

But this isn’t just about running.

I’m partnering with International Care Ministries (ICM) because I believe every kilometre I log should mean something beyond the finish line.

Right now, 30% of the families ICM works with survive on less than $0.50 a day. Many don’t know where their next meal will come from. Parents face impossible choices — food, medicine, or their children’s education.

My goal is to raise enough to fund three Transform communities — giving hundreds of families the tools, training, and support to build a better future.

Every early morning. Every long run. Every tough session.

It’s all for them.

About ICM

ICM doesn’t offer short-term relief. Transform is a four-month program that equips ultra-poor families with practical skills across health, livelihood, education, and community — and the results are measurable:

  • 107% increase in income among ultra-poor participants
  • 25% increase in social safety nets
  • 10% reduction in serious illness

And the change lasts. After the program, trained community volunteers carry the work forward — so impact continues long after ICM leaves.
