Pakito Yeneza

Pakito comes to ICM with postgraduate studies in Developmental Economics and several decades of experience in poverty alleviation. He has been involved in a number of long term major projects, including the development of the General Santos fisheries and power generation projects in Negros Occidental. Pakito was recommended to ICM by Pastor Peter Tanchi who supports ICM ministry. He has worked with USAID, the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Pakito has a passion for ICM’s mission of bringing the gospel to the poor.

John Enguana

Before joining ICM in February 1992, John was Assistant Pastor at Christian Mission Fellowship, a beneficiary of an ICM pilot program. He was in charge of the feeding program as a partnering church worker and saw how it helped the malnourished children.

He responded to God's calling to help churches, pastors and the poor through ICM. In 1985, John was trained as a paramedic and community development worker by an organization who supported churches in South Negros Occidental. John studied Education in college. He was able to utilise this training and knowledge and became the Medical In Charge at ICM.

John has a passion for teaching and equipping pastors and is now the Area Head for Negros Occidental. He desires to continue extending ICM programs to other provinces in Philippines.

Jonathan Sanchez

Jonathan started with ICM in 1992. He met Sharon through Calvary Care Church, where he worked as a Youth Pastor and Worship Leader. With Sharon’s support, Jonathan pursued a Bible College degree. He was touched by the vision of ICM, ministering to people in different areas through different programs. It is a ministry that he wanted to be involved in.

Before joining ICM, Jonathan studied Economics and planned to be a businessman. However, Jonathan decided to follow God’s calling to Christian ministry. He was first assigned as In-charge of Praise and Worship Ministry. Over 16 years, Jonathan had been involved in Accounts, Livelihood, Follow-up, Feeding, Touchpoint and Film showing. His deepest desire is to reach the poorest of the poor spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Jonathan was recently appointed as the new Area Head in General Santos. He hopes to expand the ministry in this area. In the future, Jonathan and his wife, Faith, desire to start a couple’s ministry, especially for Pastors and their wives.

Jackie Banasing

Jackie joined ICM in 1992 as one of the founding staff members. Jackie and her husband, Noel, were Sharon’s first contact persons in the Philippines. She was a pre-school teacher and church worker for 3 years, working in children programs and outreaches. They were ministering to the poor in the slum before ICM was established.

Initially Jackie was involved in the children's feeding program with 200 children. She then worked in the Accounts Department and Child Evangelism before taking charge of Livelihood Bakery Program. In 2000 Jackie became the Personal Secretary to the President and started the Children's Shelter and School Program, living in Dumaguete for three years. After returning to Bacolod Jackie was appointed as National In Charge for the Women and Children’s Program. She joined the Executive Committee in 2003 and became Secretary of the Board of Trustees, a responsibility she continues to fulfil.

Jackie completed a Christian Service Course and Pre Elementary Education Course. She was also trained as an Administrator for the Accelerated Christian Education System.

Jackie’s passion is education and her desire is to put up more preschools and to partner with other NGOs who can offer scholarships to our recipients.

Sam Templado

Sam joined ICM in June 1997 after attending a Counsellors Follow-up Seminar in his church, located an hour from Bacolod. Before joining ICM, he was a full time pastor managing three churches and teaching in Bible School. Sam was touched by ICM’s vision to raise the living standard and strengthen the spiritual aspect of the poor in the Philippines.

Initially Sam worked in the Livelihood Department as a full time staff and 3 years later was appointed to Department Coordinator. He was then assigned to Feeding Coordinator, Film showing Coordinator and National In-charge, Follow-up Coordinator and Assistant Regional Director in 2002.

Sam attended the University of Negros Occidental before pursuing Bible College. He finds his greatest achievement and satisfaction in changing people’s lives through ICM’s ministry. Sam is now living in Dumaguete with his family. He is the Area Head serving the poorest of the poor in Negros Oriental, Siquijor and Zambaonga Del Norte. Sam’s wife, Rochelle also works for ICM heading the Children’s Christian Education Department.

Primo Sistual

Primo was invited to join ICM in February 2003. He shared the same vision as ICM and saw how his talents could fit in with ministry opportunities in ICM.

Primo was a youth pastor and associate pastor in a local church before joining ICM. He has a passion for music and worship. Primo became the Praise and Worship leader and was in charge of the Touchpoint Department. In early 2007 he was appointed as the Area Head in Bohol.

Primo graduated with a 4 year Bible Seminary degree. His desire is to transform people by addressing their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.

Juanito Policios

Pol was invited to join ICM in September 2004 by Sharon’s husband, Manny Pastre. Pol had a desire to minister to his fellow Filipinos to meet their physical and spiritual needs. Through ICM he saw the opportunity to fulfil this desire.

Pol started working in the Feeding Program in Dumaguete. He was then sent to Mindanao Koronadal working in various programs – Feeding, Film showing, Touchpoint and Follow-up. As the ministry grew, Pol became the Area Head in Koronadal in 2007 and recently joined the Executive Committee.

Pol studied in King Jesus Bible School College. Before joining ICM, he was a full time pastor in Siay Zamboanga Sibugay pioneering a ministry to the Subanin Tribe.

With God’s guidance, Pol hopes to expand the network with pastors, other non-government and local government units. This will maximise the effectiveness of ICM ministry to the people in Koronadal and improve their spiritual values and economic ability.
