David Sutherland, Chairman
David Sutherland is a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley and has responsibility for Morgan Stanley's tax affairs in Asia. Prior to coming to Asia, David worked for the U.S. Department of Treasury where he was the Associate International Tax Counsel. In that job, David represented the U.S. Government regarding tax issues with most countries in Asia, including successful tax treaty negotiations with Thailand and Indonesia.
David earned a law degree from the University of Virginia, a Masters of Taxation from American University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville. David was the national intercollegiate debate champion in the United States in 1982.
David and his wife, Deanna, have three children: Kent (21), Corrie (20) and Dillon (19). Deanna volunteers for ICM as the Hong Kong Director of Program Support. The Sutherland family has lived in Hong Kong since 1997.
Harry Turner
Harry Turner is a Division Director with Macquarie Bank, responsible for IT infrastructure globally. In 2008 Harry was named one of the Macquarie Foundation's three Volunteers of the Year for his work with ICM and Gawad Kalinga in rebuilding the slums in Bacolod City, the Philippines. Harry graduated with 1st Class Honors in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in 1992.
Harry's wife Julie and three children, Jack (9), Cleo (7) and Will (3) love Harry's involvement with ICM and regularly accompany him (along with his guitar) to the slums to lead Kids' Camps and build houses. Julie volunteers for ICM as the Hong Kong Executive Director. The Turner family has lived in Hong Kong since 2004.
Jovi Zalamea
Jovi Zalamea is an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. In 2005 he was named one of 5 firm-wide fellows in the inaugural Public Service Program. During this year, Jovi worked full-time with the Ayala Foundation in the Philippines and helped organize a countrywide project to bring Internet access and computer labs to more than 5,000 public high schools. Jovi received his MBA from Northwestern University and BA in Economics (magna cum laude) from the University of the Philippines.
Malcolm Wood
Malcolm Wood is a strategist with Minerva, a hedge fund located in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Minerva, he served as an Executive Director in Equity Strategy at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Before moving to Hong Kong, he worked in equity strategy at First Boston and as a US and Europe portfolio manager at Bankers Trust Australia.
Malcolm holds an economics degree (1st class honors) from the University of Sydney.
Malcolm and his wife, Kara, have three children, Lachlan (14), Beatrice (11) and Charlotte (3). Kara volunteers for ICM in Hong Kong as the Preschool Coordinator. They have lived in Hong Kong since 2005.
Lily Ng
Lily Ng is the Chief Financial Officer for CPP Group’s Asia Pacific operations, a leading international provider of consumer assistance products and services. Lily joined the company as employee no. 2 in Asia, and launched operations across four countries in three years. Prior to coming to Hong Kong in 1994, Lily held a variety of financial operation roles in California USA in high technology, health care and venture capital.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., Lily holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's Degree in management and finance from Memphis State. Lily and her husband, David McIntyre have two children: Rhys (4) and Evan (2).
Pakito Yeneza
Pakito comes to ICM with postgraduate studies in Developmental Economics and several decades of experience in poverty alleviation. He has been involved in a number of long term major projects, including the development of the General Santos fisheries and power generation projects in Negros Occidental. He has worked with USAID, the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Pakito has a passion for ICM’s mission of bring the gospel to the poor.
Pakito and his wife, Grace, have three children Francesca (17), Kyla (15) and Katriona (12) and live in Manila.
